| The Jazz Association of Greater San Diego (JAG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation devoted to the preservation, dissemination, and enjoyment of jazz music throughout the greater San Diego area. A major component of JAG's mission is outreach to young people through an ongoing series of school music assemblies. Jazz is America's original art form, and JAG recognizes the importance of introducing children to jazz in order that it remains a part of our culture in the future. JAG also produces jazz concerts so that all San Diegans may have the opportunity to experience the fun, uplifting, and uniquely American art form that is jazz. |
